Upon considering everything, I have decided that ordering wholesale flowers online will be cheaper than consulting a florist to do all the work. I love to DIY, so I have decided that I will work on creating some of the arrangements for my wedding ceremony. What would be a good website to order wholesale flowers online? I have a few concerns though:
1. Is the company is reputable?
2. Quality of the products
3. Quality of the service.
If anyone has ever ordered flowers online please inform me of your experience.
Does anyone know of any reputable flower companies online?
I am a wedding consultant and we have used this website for a couple low-budget weddings. We have has very good experiences with them. The flowers arrived a couple days before the event and were fresh and beautiful.
Reply:I just read on another post that costco actually does flowers.
Reply:i am using http://onlinewholesaleflower.com
They have very good price and dont charge for shipping. That is always a plus :)
Reply:Costco-I've only heard good things about their flowers and service and they are rather inexpensive.
Reply:I had great luck with www.theflowerexchange.com. I did my own flowers for my wedding and ordered them from this company. I ordered calla lilies and Oriental lilies for the main flowers and them some other filler flowers. The flowers lasted well over two weeks. They were absolutely stunning. Service was great. I was so pleased that for Thanksgiving dinner this year, I ordered a bunch more flowers. I cannot say enough great things about them.
Good luck!

That's what I'm going to use for my wedding.
Reply:Hi Heather:
I used this site: www.rosesource.com for my son's wedding. They sell ALL types of flowers, not just roses.

Yes, this company is reputable. You can see my testimonial signed "Gail B." on their site.
The only thing....research and know what you are getting into before you decide this! I would not suggest for you to make up complex arrangements/bouquets unless you have LOTS of help. Also....when is your wedding? What time of year? My son's was in the summer and we have an air conditioned house, so it all worked out. They caution you NOT to put the flowers into regular refrigerators.....just keep them cool. Also, since these are fresh flowers, you will need to have them delivered 2 days before the wedding....then do all the arrangements, bouquets, boutonnieres the day BEFORE your wedding. It it LOTS of work! But, again, well worth it also!
I ordered 250 roses, which would have cost me $1,000 and I only paid (in 2006) $160!! Cheap! I did not do up bouquets, etc. I only used them for table arrangements for the rehearsal dinner, reception, church, cake table, etc.
Good luck!
Reply:I like oconners in GA ... they were nice and could match you to what you want..

Reply:I received roses from a friend last Valentine's day and they came from ProFlowers.com.
I can not recommend them as the flowers appeared to be already dying as I took them out of the box. I had to start removing the unsightly ones the very next day and most were gone within 5 days.
Reply:1800flowers, been using them over a year, no problems
